The JUDGE GRUDGE!

Image
Have you ever wondered why do we all have the habit of constantly judging others?(unless your are a judge of a court :)) I just gave a second thought and this is what I think about judging others...... "That dress is to short" , "This dish is very salty" , "You don't look good in these clothes" , "You are not good at this"... are like some staple words on our lips. The hard truth is that we judge others to make ourselves look more superior and dominant.Well , this all happens in our minds unknowingly. We pretend and make ourselves believe that we are better , stronger , greater! We put up a fake show and inevitably solace ourselves by lying. The fact is that we stand up by putting other down! Whom to blame? Gossip queens!? Society!?  NO. Blame your human nature which compels us to think in that manner which we unfortunately can't  stop. This seed is sown in the hearts of every person on the Earth. It's up to you whether you

HOW YOU SEE THE WORLD...

I came across this lovely and exhilarating story while reading a book called- THE ART OF BEING A BRILLIANT TEENAGER though this article works for every ages! Would love to share because not all might be having this great book which is more like a thought-provoking guide to being yourself! It's motivating, enthralling and humorous too. So this is how it starts... A young couple moved into a swanky apartment in a new neighbourhood. They sat in their kitchen having breakfast , watching the world go by.The woman saw her neighbour pegging out the washing."That laundry's not very clean", she tutted."She either needs a new washing machine or better washing powder." Other than the crunching on his toast, her husband remained silent. His wife's comment was exactly the same the next day.And the next."Why  on earth is that woman hanging out dirty washing?", she sighed in disgust."She needs lessons in basic hygiene!" And her

EGGUCATION:The egg theory!

Image
I am sure most of you all might be knowing how to distinguish between an old egg and a new or fresh egg. It's simple , just dip some of them in a bowl of water and observe what happens. OLD EGGS FLOAT.NEW EGGS SINK. Try it.It's a fun activity! Well , have you ever wondered this activity can give us a life lesson? Interesting right!? Keep reading. Just imagine the old eggs are  people who are experienced , professional and experts in their field of work or activity and the new eggs are that class of people who are of course inexperienced , untrained  or simply beginners! Notice that it is over a period of time that you enhance, strengthen , refine and improve in life regardess of what field you are in.The old eggs that are floating above obviously didn't get there in a blink of a second.Experts , in any field , practised day and night and it is only because of the hardwork and dedication they put in , they rise up and earn that position throug

CAT-FRIENDLY!

Rohan , a twelve year old animal lover , lived with his grandmother having lost both his loving parents in an unfortunate car accident when he was around five years old.He was dearly brought up with love and warmth coupled with good manners and etiquettes. He always longed for a pet! Everyday he preserved some portion of his lunch for Tommy , a playful kitten with beige hue and random white patches. No wonder it was the society kitten often loathed by the seniors of the colony for its aimless wandering and roaming. On his way back home he would always offer his intentionally leftover food to the kitten and also pour some water in a plastic cup labelled 'Tommy' which he had brought from his residence last summer. It had been a long time since he was carrying out this secret business and working as an everyday undercover generous supplier of food and water! Sometimes in summers Tommy  often got some milk like a special bonus or so to get some respite from the everyday meal.Eve
